Overview

Operation Round Up is a community outreach program administered by the Cuivre River Electric Community Trust, funded through contributions from Cuivre River Electric Cooperative (CREC) members. The program aims to address unmet needs in health, youth, education, home weatherization, and community and emergency services. It is managed by a seven-member CREC Community Trust Board comprising volunteers selected for their dedication to community service and awareness of local needs.

Focus Area

The grant program focuses on providing support in the following areas:

• Health: Assisting families with emergencies, illnesses, and medical needs.

• Youth: Supporting youth organizations and activities promoting good citizenship.

• Education: Enhancing educational opportunities for schools and individuals with limited resources.

• Home Weatherization: Helping low-income and elderly individuals reduce home energy bills through efficiency improvements.

• Community and Emergency Services: Supporting initiatives that enhance community well-being and safety.

Eligibility

• Individuals, families, nonprofit organizations, and accredited K-12 schools within the CREC general service area.

• The service area includes parts of Lincoln, southern Pike, St. Charles (excluding 63301 zip code), and Warren counties in Missouri.

Ineligibility

• Projects or activities outside the designated service area.

• Requests not aligned with the program's focus areas.

• Scholarships (handled separately).

Preference

Preference is given to projects that:

• Address urgent community needs effectively.

• Demonstrate a significant impact on enhancing community life.

• Align with the core mission areas of Operation Round Up.

• Deadline: Last day of each month (except for scholarships).
