These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and GrantBay Inc. (“GrantBay,” “we,” or “us”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Account Registration and Security

To access specific grant matches, you must create an account, selecting a password and user name (“GrantBay User ID”). You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated registration information and to safeguard your account and password. You are responsible for all activities associated with your account.

Acceptable Use

GrantBay.org is dedicated to facilitating interactive engagement by individuals accessing the site through standard web browsers. Automated or pre-programmed access via hardware or software devices, programs, routines, or scripts that circumvent the site's interactive controls is strictly prohibited. Users must refrain from imposing an excessive load on GrantBay.org's hardware, software, or infrastructure.

Registered users are granted permission to utilize GrantBay for the purpose of searching for grants pertinent to their organization, business, or personal endeavors. It is expressly forbidden to distribute or share grant listings obtained from GrantBay for commercial exploitation or any unauthorized purposes. Additionally, the transfer or sale of any portion or share of a single or multi-user license to individuals or entities is strictly prohibited. GrantBay will facilitate the reassignment of licenses in cases where staff members with individual or multi-user accounts transition out of an organization.

To ensure equitable access and uphold the integrity of funding sources, GrantBay employs trust and safety alerts. Users who trigger these alerts will face temporary access restrictions, typically lasting 24 hours. It is essential to use GrantBay for its intended purpose to avoid encountering these alerts. For users seeking assistance in configuring a more targeted grant search, our office is available for support. Failure to respond to requests for clarification regarding the purpose and intended recipients of grant searches may result in the suspension of user accounts and forfeiture of associated fees due to suspected misuse.

User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree to use the Services in compliance with all applicable laws and these Terms. Specifically, you must not:

• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Compromise the security of your GrantBay account or others’ accounts.
• Attempt to obtain passwords or security information from other users.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Services.
• Engage in unauthorized data collection, such as crawling or scraping.
• Decompiling, reverse engineering, or attempting to obtain the source code of the Services.

Violation of these restrictions may result in termination of your access to the Services.

Ownership and Intellectual Property Rights

The Content provided through the Services is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You agree not to exploit, reproduce, or modify any Content without proper authorization. GrantBay retains ownership of the Services and prohibits unauthorized use or modification of any aspect of the Services.

User Submissions

In no event shall our liability exceed the amounts paid by you to GrantBay in connection with the Services. Auto-Renew Program and Subscriptions

As part of GrantBay.org's commitment to our Subscribers, we have an Automatic Renewal Program as a quick and convenient way for subscribers to pay without interruption of service. Your subscription will continue on a recurring basis unless and until you cancel or the subscription is suspended or discontinued by GrantBay. You may opt-out of the Auto-Renew Program service at any time in your My Account Settings page.

Cancellation

GrantBay.org is a pay-as-you-go service. To avoid being charged for a new period, you must cancel your subscription before your current period ends. When you cancel your subscription, cancellation will be effective at the end of the current period; you will continue to have access to your subscription for the remainder of that period, but you will not receive a refund. Cancellation does not qualify you for a refund.

Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and GrantBay regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent.
