Overview

Micro Grants are designed as a timely funding mechanism for requests that address community needs. Preferred requests are project or program-based and have meaningful community benefits.

Focus Areas

• Project or program-based requests with meaningful community benefits.

• Operations-related requests in the case of unanticipated, one-time expenses.

Eligibility

• Applicant must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, government entity, or other IRS-recognized charitable organization serving Teton County, Wyoming, or be fiscally sponsored by an entity that meets these requirements.

• Grant funds must be used exclusively in Teton County, Wyoming.

• Applicant’s work must not be primarily focused on influencing legislation.

Ineligibility

• Funds may not be used for debt retirement or religious or political activities.

• Grant funds may not be used for a project or training that has already been completed.

• Typically does not support recurring expenses, general operating expenses, routine maintenance, marketing/communications, travel, youth scholarships, or requests that have been previously funded by the Community Foundation or requested within the past 12 months.

Overview

The Natrona County Recreation Joint Powers Board (NCRJPB) offers grants to nonprofit organizations serving Natrona County, Wyoming, to support projects and programs that benefit local children and families' recreational needs. Funding is intended to address infrastructure or programmatic needs that enhance community recreation.

Eligibility

• Eligible Applicants: Nonprofit organizations serving Natrona County.

• Projects must directly benefit the recreational needs of local children and families.

• Proposals should clearly address infrastructure or programmatic improvements.

Ineligibility

• Grant applications from for-profit entities are not accepted.

• Projects outside Natrona County are ineligible.

Preference

Preference may be given to projects that demonstrate a clear impact on improving community recreational facilities or programs. Applications are reviewed quarterly, with decisions based on the project's alignment with community needs and available funding.

• Applications are accepted throughout the fiscal year.

• Submission Deadline: Applications must be received before the quarterly meetings:

o Quarter 1: January, February, March

o Quarter 2: April, May, June

o Quarter 3: July, August, September

o Quarter 4: October, November, December
